Mobile Home Inspections
A mobile home (also known as a manufactured home) inspection is different from a standard house inspection. Unlike a house or townhome, there is no basement or traditional foundation — the mobile home usually sits on a concrete pad with the base frame supported on blocks or piers, surrounded by skirting.
In this space beneath the home are the connections to utility services — water, electrical, and gas. On the West Coast of British Columbia, mobile homes must be seismically secured to the ground to minimize the risk of them moving off their support blocks or piers.

The skirting surrounds the space beneath the home where utility connections are located. We inspect for damage, ventilation, and pest entry points.
